About
Ariel Piazza is a designer, illustrator, and multi-disciplinary artist. Her work is whimsical, optimistic, and inspired by the natural world.
Ariel grew up just outside Portland, Oregon, in the suburbs, where she frequently got caught drawing on her bedroom walls. She graduated from the University of Oregon with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Studio Art.
After graduation, she rode her bike down the coast on a two-month solo bike tour, covering 2,000 miles.
She was a lifeguard, bike mechanic, sandwich maker, and marketing manager. She spent four years as a senior brand producer at the legendary brand design studio OMFGCO, before going back to school for graphic design.
Ariel graduated from Shillington Education with a degree in Graphic Design in 2022 and launched her creative studio shortly after.
She lives in Southeast Portland with her husband and two retrievers. She works out of a backyard studio she built with her dad's help.
